How would a foreigner be treated in South Korea?

A lot of times, I heard that foreigners in Korea are laughed at and mistreated. (I'm not generalizing that all Koreans are racists, I'm asking a question) By being a Filipino female (speaks Korean fluently), how will I be treated in Korea? I've heard a lot of people saying that many Koreans are nice and friendly, but I've also heard that many look down upon foreigners.
