Can someone help me with my E73 error?

My xbox has had the red ring of death before and I fixed it myself... temporarily. I cleaned it out, removed the old thermal past, applied new thermal paste, and reset it. (with the penny fix as well) To my misfortune, it has returned a few times since the first try. I have applied new thermal past a few more times since then. A few weeks ago I started to get the E73 error with one flashing red light in the 4th bottom right quadrant. I simply reset it by overheating the unit and it worked for a while. That is, until it started to E73 constantly. Being sick of the constant E73 errors, I took apart the xbox once again and smothered the gpu and cpu with thermal paste since the time before I had only applied a light coat and it didn't work. Now I have to reset (overheat) my xbox after every power on because of the E73 error. It works fine until I turn off my xbox after any amount of time the xbox has been powered on. After I turn it off, it just error codes again. When I overheat the console now, it doesn't get very hot and it hardly takes any time to cool off. What can I do? Buying a new xbox isn't really an option by the way. I think the console might have some kind of problem with heat recognition or overheat recognition, that is.

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro 15''; i7 and 4gb. I'm really worried about the heating.I usually play The sims 3 and as soon as i start it the temperature goes REALY high.I do not have it on my lap,i always have it on a table. This is my first mac.I've been using 'Temperature Monitor' to monitor the temperature and when i play a game,the temp of the CPU were about 80C-90C(sometimes 94C).Now i have installed iStat but the temperatures seem really low but if u touch the space between the keyboard and screen,you'll get burnt. I'm not deaf and the only thing I have about research on deaf people is the show Switched at Birth. But I do have some advice, I realize that your character can read lips well, but try wearing ear plugs and walking around without being able to hear for a day or two. Is it my motherboard, CPU, or RAM?

My computer is having some issues. The computer will turn on, all the fans, lights, drives, and my graphics card will turn on, but the computer won't display anything on the screen. It won't show my BIOS, it wont show anything it says "NO SIGNAL" on the screen. I tested the monitor (working), used different cables (all working), tested the Power Supply (working), the graphics card (working), the CD drive (working) and the Hard Drive (working). The languages look and sound similar with the exception of umlauts in German versus English. Words are spelled differently and past tense usually begins with ge and ends in t as in gehilfte. I downloaded Process Explorer and found that "FahCore_a4.exe" was taking up 22% of my usage...and there are four of them running all taking up 22% or more of my CPU Usage, however, It wont let me kill any of them. One thing that helped me a lot is reading along while listening to something. I found that while I could understand most of what was written, I didn't have enough practice hearing what it actually sounded like from a native speaker at full speed. I watched French movies with subtitles in French, making sure I was actively listening for each word I read. You can also get an audio book and read at the same time. After some practice at that, alternate reading/listening with just listening. This will help your active listening skills.

CPU bent pins need to know if it can be repaired?

Installed new RAM, laptop boots but the display doesn't show up.?

My brother recently got a Toshiba Satellite Pro A120 and have started to replace it's ancient parts. I decided to start with the RAM it had a 1.8V 512MB DDR2 Samsung RAM in it. I decides to add another 2GB DDR Samsung RAM 1.8V. I installed it successfully and turned the laptop on. The power light flashes green 2nd then orange 1ce and continues in that pattern. The CPU, fan and HDD also spin alot faster. I wait and wait but the display just doesn't turn on. Please help! It is new and no there arent any problems with the Graphics card CPU or Mobo.Thanks!

Can someone help me with a Gateway E4300 power issue?

I recently removed the cpu heatsink fan in my gateway e4300 desktops, and cleared them of dust. Upon reinstalling the fans into each machine, I found that none of them boot. The POST doesn't even show up. When I remove the 12V rail, and leave the main power connected to the motherboard, the system fans turns on, as well as the hard disks, but it does not boot. When the 12V rail is attached, the bezel light on the front panel turns on as well as the internal power light on the motherboard, but no fans turn on and the system does not do anything. This is happening in all three of my Gateway E4300 desktops. I've also tried replacing the PSU, but with no success. Any suggestions?

How would the "Intel HD Graphics 3000 with up to 1.6GB Dynamic Video Memory" work on Skyrim? You should have no problem getting accepted by all CSUs except for impacted majors. The only UC's you'd have much chance getting accepted are UC Riverside, UC Merced, or UC Santa Cruz, although you could try Irvine and Davis. Not much chance for UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD, or UCSB. Doing some extensive SAT preparations and retaking the exams will only help your chances. Your GPA is well below par for non-AP courses for the highly selective UC schools. However, these campus may still accept you if you qualify as an upper-division transfer from a California Community College with close to a 4.0 and the proper set of courses. All UC/CSU give priority to CCC transfers with all the requirements met and a high GPA. Plus a CCC will save you a lot of money to get the GE courses out of the way at a budget price per unit. Some UC/CSU have a transfer admissions guarantee for CCC students (not guaranteed for UCLA, Berkeley, but still with priority).

How do you quieten down a cooling fan in an Alienware Aurora desktop?

I have an Alienware Aurora which is driving me nuts right now. Everytime I turn the machine on, the cooling fan start making this loud humming sound. It sounds like a jumbo jet about to take off. I tried cleaning off all the fans with dust remover...it didn't fix the problem. I also checked to see if there's anything loose...there's nothing I could find. I know there's another option under BIOs. If anyone knows what settings to change, please let me know. I don't want to screw up my system by choosing the wrong settings out of stupidity. Under CPU Fan Control Settings - It says enabled. Under Fan Control Settings - It say enabled as well. Under Lowest Fan Speed - It has it listed as slow. Fingers slip off guitar strings?

I'm beginning to learn how to play guitar. My fingers are skinny and long and i have long finger nails. I would really love to play guitar however my fingers keep slipping from the strings. Most likely the fish oil is causing this. I take vitamins myself but do not take fish oil anymore. The reason being fish oil only made me nauseous and burp uncontrollably.. I would suggest to cut back on all the vitamins and instead choose a multivitamin. And don't forget to drink a lot of water. Also the body tends to adapt after awhile, for an example many people after awhile will find they need to change their dose of medicine because the body is not responding to it as it use to. I think that is the same with you. You need to find out how much you're body really needs. I think a visit to a doctor or vitamin expert would be best for you.

I made a full build. Im too lazy to say the specs, but parts alone excluding an optical drive and OS was $1000 2 days ago i put it together. I was tired, so i left it for the next day. It didnt start the next day. I was like WTF and i shut it down. cpu was warm, and same with the graphics card. The optical drive was working, and if that all works than obviously the power was working. The two hdds were warm, so no problem there. I remember a friend fixing a non booting up computer by pulling out a stick of RAM. So i did that. I took out 1 of the 2 4GB RAM sticks and the computer works. GREAT! But now i only have 4 GBs of RAM and the equivalent of a $40 stick that doesnt work. I want money back, or a new one. It went strait from box to motherboard, and i didnt tinker with it. I didnt touch the pins, and it is a corsair one so it has plastic covering so i dont directally touch it. Will Microcenter Accept it back? The issue that I'm having is with my parents as they never seem to want to talk to me and I feel as if they are ashamed of me cause I am not a talkative person. How to access files from an old hard drive?

In my recording studio, we had a Dell XPS 400 that was rendered useless back in 2008 when the motherboard fried. The CPU has since been collecting dust but I recently took out the hard drive in hopes that I could salvage it. I put it in another computer and it booted successfully, however, I can't remember the user password nor the administrator password just to log in and there is no guest account set up. Can't even log in with Safe Mode. Would getting a SATA to USB adaptor allow me to access the files just as if it were a flashdrive?

Hey deafies! Do you read lips and speak fluently without help?

I can speak and read lips fluently as well. I'm completely deaf with absolutely NO hearing left (even with hearing aids). I don't usually need an interpreter though I do have some awesome friends who have learned sign for me and do help me out sometimes when they can tell my eyes are getting tired or I'm just worn out from lip reading all day. I'm usually fine with 1 one 1 or 1 on 2 if they are both sitting in the same general area. I HATE when there are multiple people who site on opposite sides of me because then my head just keeps going back and forth and I miss the first few words that person said and it's just a pain. I can usually follow up to about 4-6 people but I don't get everything. It would help so much more if they would raise their hand before they spoke or something so I knew where to look. Usually if it's more than 5ish I do prefer an interpreter. Like at youth group, I can usually get by without a terp (there are about 30-40 people that go) but I pretty much just stay in my little group because I don't follow everything so I do prefer having the church terp there.

What's wrong with my Ps3's controller analog?

I bought a new ds3 sixaxis a few weeks ago and at first it was obvious I needed to break in the analogs, and the left one did break in. But the right one is still pretty hard to move to the upper right, It can move perfectly around in circles but when I try to move it diagonally it requires me to use my thumb muscle to do it. Which makes it very hard to play first shooter games since instead of being able to move it fluently it jerks passed where I want to aim it at. Is there anyway to fix this? Can anyone help find a translated version of this book?

You know, I was looking and I don't think this book has been translated to English, unless you know something I don't. The English version of the title would be, of course, "Mari, the Fabulous Capital" or just "Mari, Fabulous Capital", but when I google this, I get only a list of works by Parrot from wikipedia. Wikipedia sometimes translates foreign titles to English even if there isn't an English version. When I look for works by Andre Parrot on amazon.com or abebooks.com (which has a larger selection of older books than amazon), I only find the French edition, which amazon tells me is out of print. So I guess learn to read French or find another book...sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Why is my computer so loud?

I've had this HP desktop for about 3 years now but probably in the last 2 i've had this problem. Its not the cpu fan because i had it cleaned out by a computer shop about 3-4 months ago and i just cleaned it about 3 days ago. It only makes the noise when i play games or do a lot or heavy stuff. If it makes the noise for about 30 minutes straight it will just power down. No warning, nothing, it'll just shut off. When i turn it back on again it only takes 20 minutes to just shut off then lower and lower each time, so eventually i just have to shut it off and leave it for the day. I've been doing a little research and am thinking its the hardrive. What do you think?

It is your Video card that is weak for this game. You obviously have a laptop. Laptops are not the best platforms for modern games really. Laptop video cards are integrated to either the processor or the motherboard and therefore not being dedicated are no where near as powerful as desktop dedicated video cards. If you really want to play MW2 properly, use a desktop PC with a good video card and you won't have any graphics problems on highest settings.

Well, I am an Asian American. English is my first language. I have been US for 3 years already. I have no problem with speaking, reading and writing (expect some grammar issues).
