When did MLB drop the second all-star game and why?
I was looking at Roger Maris' Wikipedia page and I saw that he was on 7 all-star teams. Once in 1959 (second game) and twice in '60, '61, & '62. I wasn't aware of the existence of a second all-star game, and I was wondering when did MLB drop the second game and why?
